- Vortex Venom
Vortex Venom
The Vortex Venom red dot with the 3 MOA dot is a compact open emitter optic designed for fast target pickup with a low profile shape and a relatively large viewing window. It is built in an aluminum housing and is marketed as shockproof and waterproof, with fully multi coated lenses and protective coatings intended to keep the glass clear while resisting scratches and grime. For mounting, the original Venom uses the Docter or Noblex footprint, which is widely supported by plates and mounts, but note that the Venom Enclosed model uses a different footprint. It runs on a CR1632 battery, typically includes a Picatinny or Weaver rail mount in the box, and is backed by Vortexs VIP lifetime warranty, which is a meaningful part of its overall quality and value.
Important!!
This optic should not be confused with the Vortex Venom Enclosed Emitter. Even though they carry the same name they are not compatible. This mount is for the Vortex SKU VMD-1301. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to our support team at support@armadynemfg.com.

Designed and Manufactured in the USA
Our mounts are proudly designed, manufactured, and sold right here in the USA. Each mount begins as a billet of 6061-T6 aluminum and is CNC machined in our Lincoln, Nebraska shop to exacting standards. After machining, we sandblast and finish every mount with H-Series Cerakote—a two part, heat cured ceramic coating that delivers superior scratch resistance while preserving dimensional accuracy. We take pride in supporting American manufacturing and source our raw materials from companies that share the same commitment.
