Armadyne mounts fit all Ruger 10/22 variants with the standard four-hole tapped receiver. This guide helps you identify the mounting holes on top of the receiver, where a scope rail or optic mount attaches.
What to look for
The standard Ruger 10/22 receiver has four threaded mounting holes: a front pair and a rear pair. The spacing within the front pair differs from the spacing within the rear pair.
Count the holes in the receiver itself, not the holes in a removable rail or mount. If a rail covers the receiver, follow Ruger's instructions or ask Armadyne for help identifying the setup.
Receiver threads
Armadyne Ruger 10/22 mounts use #6-48 receiver screws. Screw length and head style matter as well as the thread, so use the hardware supplied for your mount and follow the installation instructions.
Front or rear mounting position
Armadyne's direct mounts have three receiver-side mounting holes so they can match either the front pair or the rear pair on the receiver. ModMount uses a separate receiver base; follow the ModMount instructions for that design.
Other compatible receivers
The discontinued Ruger .44 Magnum Stalker line is also compatible with Armadyne's Ruger 10/22 mounts.
