The ModMount Spacer allows you to elevate the selected mount off the base. Each spacer comes with the appropriate screw length to attach the mount to the base.
Screw Length Guide
Most ModMount Mounts accept a 2mm range of flat head M4 screws that link the mount to the base. This range starts 6mm and ends at 8mm. Add the height of the spacer to the to the 6mm-8mm range to find what screw lengths are compatible with the height of spacer that you want.
Example 1: Want to add a 6mm spacer. 6mm spacer + 6mm to 8mm range = M4 screw lengths 12mm to 14mm.
Example 2: Want to add a 2mm and a 8mm spacer. 2mm + 8mm + 6mm to 8mm range = M4 screw lengths 16. – 18mm.
