Safety First

Always make sure your firearm is clear before doing any maintenance!!!

Step 1:

If you are installing your optic to a direct mount and uses screws to install the optic be sure to check for interference first.

Install the optic to the mount using the provided screws or the manufacturer supplied screws.
Place the mount on top of the mounting holes.
Visually confirm that the screws will not scratch the receiver.

Step 2:

Disassemble and install the mount to the receiver using a torque driver if necessary.

Step 3:

Install the optic to the mount using a torque driver if necessary. Reference the torque settings below based on the size of screw. If you choose to use a liquid thread locker reduce the torque by 25%.
