About This Ruger Mark IV Midmount

Armadyne Ruger Mark IV Midmounts fit pistols with the standard three-hole receiver pattern. The Midmount spans the ejection port and moves the optic farther rearward while maintaining a low-profile direct-mount position.

Direct mounting keeps the red dot closer to the receiver than a Picatinny or Weaver rail with a separate optic mount.

Compatibility

This line is for standard three-hole Ruger Mark IV receivers with two threaded holes ahead of the ejection port and one behind it.

How the Midmount Position Differs

Standard mounts sit fully ahead of the ejection port. The Midmount uses the threaded hole immediately ahead of the ejection port and the threaded hole behind it, allowing the mount to span the port. Choose the version that matches your optic footprint.

Installation Notes

Unload the firearm and remove the factory rail or other mount. Secure the Midmount with the supplied two #6-48 x 1/8 flat-head screws.

Attach the optic to the mount and dry-fit the assembly on the receiver before final installation. Confirm that no optic screw can protrude far enough to contact or scratch the receiver.

Follow the Ruger Mark IV installation instructions for the complete screw-length check, torque values, and optional thread locker adjustment.
