About This ModMount Optic-Side Mount
This component provides the optic interface in the ModMount system. Its oval stud seats in any ModMount base, and two flat-head M4 screws secure the connection.
Complete Your ModMount System
A complete setup requires a base that matches the firearm receiver, rail, or dovetail and an optic-side mount that matches the optic. Optional vertical and 45-degree offset spacers install between the base and optic-side mount when additional height or an offset position is desired.
Every ModMount optic-side mount works with every ModMount base and spacer.
Choose the Correct Interface
Optic compatibility is determined primarily by mounting-screw spacing and recoil-lug spacing. Choose the interface that matches the optic manufacturer's stated footprint. When more than one optic-screw thread is offered, select the thread required by the optic.
Installation Notes
Seat the optic-side mount directly in the base, or place an optional spacer between them, then secure the assembly with two flat-head M4 screws. Attach the optic to the mount and check screw length before final assembly. No optic screw should protrude far enough to contact another component.
Review the ModMount system guide for component selection and the installation instructions for torque values, screw-length checks, and optional thread locker guidance.
