About This ModMount Spacer
A spacer is an optional component that installs between a ModMount base and optic-side mount. Vertical spacers raise the optic, while the 45-degree offset spacer moves the optic to an angled position.
Every ModMount spacer uses the same oval interface and works with every ModMount base and optic-side mount. Each spacer includes the screws needed for its intended installation. Vertical spacers can be stacked when additional height is needed.
Choose the Correct Spacer
Select a vertical spacer when additional optic height or installation clearance is needed. Select the 45-degree offset spacer when the optic needs an angled mounting position. Confirm the selected height or spacer style before adding it to the cart.
Installation Notes
Seat the spacer in the ModMount base, then seat the optic-side mount in the spacer. Secure the assembly with the included flat-head M4 screws.
Without a spacer, the correct interface-screw length is normally 6mm to 8mm. For a vertical spacer, add the total spacer height to that range. A 4mm spacer requires 10mm-to-12mm screws. When stacking vertical spacers, use their combined height in the calculation.
Attach the optic and check every screw before final assembly. No screw should protrude far enough to contact the firearm or another component. Armadyne ModMount spacers are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum in our Lincoln, Nebraska shop, then sandblasted and finished with H-Series Cerakote for wear and corrosion resistance.
